When it comes to institutes you can trust, Contractors & Builders stands behind its partners and affiliates. They offer helpful resources to those in the construction sector. And also provide opportunity for your career or business. We’re proud to promote these state and national groups (in alphabetical order):

Arizona Builders’ Alliance (ABA)

This group is made up of about 400 construction companies in Arizona. Founded in 1994, ABA is the result of two local chapters of national associations merging. The alliance offers training, education and more to those with jobs in the construction and trades industry.

Associated Builders and Contractors, Inc. (ABC)

Launched in 1950, ABC has 79 chapters across the U.S. It represents roughly 25,000 firms in the construction trade. ABC welcomes all specialties in the industry. And it serves as a voice for the construction trade in government and media. It promotes open competition and free enterprise.

Nevada Contractors Association (NCA)

NCA offers members services that help them with their construction business or trade. This includes aid with contract negotiation, labor disputes, EEOC and compliance issues and more. NCA also lobbies for state laws affecting the sector.

The Associated General Contractors of America (AGC)

AGC was founded in 1918. With headquarters in Washington, D.C., it has nationwide chapters. AGC has more than 33,000 members in the construction sector. These members include general and specialty contractors. Service providers to the industry are also welcome.

The Green Career Institute (GCI)

GCI is a school that certifies “Green” careers. Courses prep for jobs in the alternative energy industry. This includes solar, wind, electric cars, facilities, marketing and more. GCI has campuses in the San Francisco Bay Area. It also has locations in Southern California.

Quality Support Services (QSS)

QSS is a HUBZone certified, minority-owned firm. It specializes in staffing, wholesale purchasing and payroll. Staffing caters to food service, landscaping, mailroom, maintenance and more. C&B’s partnership with QSS allows contractors to bid on federal government construction projects. The award-winning firm has headquarters in Louisiana with offices in Nevada.
